Circle of Life
Sometimes you are the victim, but other times you are the villain. No matter how unfair it feels or how much we hate being on the other side, it's simply inevitable - that's the circle of life.
There is an anecdote in South Korea on the chain of emotional release. A boss who yells at his employee then yells at his wife who yells at her student who yells at her dad who is ultimately the boss - the one at the top of the chain. The idea is to practice karma - that the people we make victims can also be villains to others, ultimately circling back to a full circle. However, if we flipped the chain backwards, the narrative of the chain will also flip (from villain -> victim to victim -> villain.)
Sometimes we are the victim, but other times we are the villain. No matter how unfair it feels or how much we hate being on the other side, it's simply inevitable - that's the circle of life.
